Review of Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Despite my transgressions towards the source writer being a holocaust denying SOB this anime served as a way for me to really try and separate the artist from their art. I put off watching this for quite a while hearing about the creator and his opinions and was torn with how revered the story is. That aside, I'm a bit of a sucker for RomCom's and this one hits the right buttons for me. it's not too caught up stupid BS that these show typically do at times it does but they're for good reason and not overused. Has great metaphors and symbolism using videogames as the medium to get into our characters heads. The cast is insanely lovable and leaves you overall satisfying with the ending. Just overall really solid and incredibly heartwarming
