I really got into the story line, and found myself wanting to read more about the couple in this manga. Even though it starts off a little confusing, by the end you are completely wrapped up in their relationship. The main character is a recently divorced bespectacled man. Who, by reading the manga, has yet to understand what "love" is until his chance encounter with Asukura. The way in which the shop he found was a bit mysterious and almost dream like throughout the first couple chapters was what pulled me into this manga. The main characters personality is well formed and written in away where you can really relate to the predicaments he has with intimate relationships/showing emotion. The way in which the mangaka creates a correlation between the crack in the tea cup and the scuff on the wooden box in the store with the sentiments of Asukura's ability to see the good in even used items; and how that teaches Shinoda how to love, in my opinion is perfect.
