Review of Samurai Champloo
So Hungry, I Could Eat A Sunflower Samurai Champloo Is a story about starvation and the want to figure out, What sunflower smells like? Taking place in the last day of the edo period, cultural exchange is beginning to happen and this anime is about it. it show it through hip hop and graffiti art, through the lower arts that are not taking seriously. The soundtrack is one of my favorite of all time, it's so different from most samurai show, I have seen, but it works perfectly with the tone of hip-hop and change. and editing and music goes into a higher caliber in certain moments, thatmakes it unforgettable.
The characters work in both the silly of funny episode, and the serious and melancholy one, because the characters are interesting and you want to learn more about them, through the episodic nature of the Show.
Background looks atmospheric and really captures Japan edo period, and character design looks pretty with a thick ink outline ,and great facial expressions.
It's one of my favorite anime, that has styled, music and fun to it. would recommend.
