Zutto Suki datta Kuse ni · review
This manga is extremely problematic. The two main characters have an eight-year age gap (15 and 23), and the student–teacher relationship is disturbing rather than cute. It felt like blatant manipulation of a minor, and I genuinely don’t understand why something like this was published. I enjoyed the mangaka’s other works, but this one crossed a line and should never have been written this way. What makes it even worse is that they end up together and it’s portrayed as a happy ending. The art style is technically fine and polished, and it fits a typical shoujo aesthetic The characters are flat and lack depth. While this usually wouldn’t botherme in a one-shot, in this case the content of the manga itself is simply awful.
