OmegaComplex · review
I have read Alpha Trauma before this, and to be honest, I didn't really care to get into this but AT is still ongoing and this one was already completed so /le shrugs Anyway, this was actually very cute! A refreshing, well-paced friends-to-lovers story, Omega Complex follows Yoonwoo, an omega who's in love with his best friend Taegyeom, an alpha who detests all omegas. Thus, began a tumbleweed of misunderstandings and secrecy. This was a very light read, it doesn't drag too much and it gives us space to root for two friends to finally talk and get together. I don't usually like ABO stories becauseof how unfairly imbalanced the power dynamics are, and how omegas are usually portrayed as useless without a domineering alpha but like AT, Omega Complex isn't like that. We are introduced to a world setting that is neither overbearing nor uncomfortable. I also like the side characters (admittedly, it was fun seeing a different side of Dohyun), seeing them on the panels didn't feel like too much.
If you want a light and easy read, I definitely recommend this.
