Review of Horimiya

So, I've seen many people be hypercritical about Horimiya as it is a new and popular show with, albeit, some weird qualities, or quality. One of the most repetitive criticisms that I've seen is the criticism about Hori's "kink" which is how she likes Miyamura being aggressive and abusive because it varies from his actual personality, note that Hori doesn't actually like to get beat or yelled at, she just finds this exciting because of how different it is from Miyamura's actual personality. Although this show has an overused plot, after coming off a year where studios are trying to be over original and eachone of their shows has 100 gimmicks, Horimiya's take on this common plot and storyline is not only refreshing and light but also is fun and beautiful to watch. 10/10
