Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

9/10 Awesome Anime^^ still a little overrated on this site (It is not the best Anime ever made) but easily deserves a spot in the top 100 Anime to watch and definitly is a great way to introduce people to Anime that have never watched 1 before! The strong focus on characters is it's greatest strength followed by its use of flashbacks. Those strengths are supported by its slower way of telling a story which fits the atmosphere perfectly almost every episode... just sometimes it feels like the plot is not going anywhere. Which brings me to the only tiniest gripe I have with it... not enough actionand fights.
Don't misunderstand me... the fights in Frieren are amazing but there is really not a lot of them. And for an anime that is about an adventurers journey that makes it fall flat a little when it comes to the action parts of the story.
The music is fitting the general atmosphere perfectly although other than the Intros & Outros the Soundtrack does not leave a lasting impression.
Therefore I hope you can forgive me, giving this "only" a 9/10
Looking massively forward to Season 2 though^^
