Review of Chainsaw Man

Last review of 2022, let's see what we've got. Chainsaw man is an anime adaptation of the manga that falls under the same name (Chainsaw man), which a lot of anime fans have been waiting for (including myself). -Story 10/10- The story is quite straight-foward, a boy is in debt because of his careless (and dead) father, with the help of his pet dog (who is a devil), Pochita, he is trying to make money by slaying demons. Pochita has made a deal and so, when Denji is in critical condition the dog merges with him and thus, chainsaw man is born -Art 9/10- Shockingly enough, MAPPA did everyonea favour with the art, though they do look a little ugly not going to lie.

-Sound 10/10-
OP was so good oh my god, Ending was also good but not good as OP and VA in general was also very very good

-Character 8/10-
Most of the characters were introduced in a way that makes the viewer like them and think they are nice but after a while you get to see who they really are, which is quite impressive and mindfucks with the audience. Removing points for Makima.

-Enjoyment 7/10-
Admittedly as much as I can say I enjoyed Chainsaw man after a while it did get boring and I feel that the hype died down a little, it's very enjoyable as a storyline

-Overall 9/10-
I am very excited for the 2nd season, I genuinely hope it's not a let-down
