Review of Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro

Story: The story for this is great, a lot of people I see are saying that the bullying is problematic those people are probably virgins. It’s a twist on your typical romance anime it’s not them avoid telling each other or the main character actually met them when they were kids, it’s just some guy who’s Dense as FUCK and a girl who trying to toughen him up because she sees potential in him. It’s an interesting way to develop characters. They’re polar opposite yet they both kind of learn to see things differently from each other’s prospective, this is more true in the manga. Art:The art style in this anime I’d say is pretty good the characters looks are unique. The backgrounds aren’t a blurry what’re color mess that you see sometimes, they got some detail; some life in them. And that intro was really good I like pop art so I’m kind of biased but still great haven’t seen any into like it.

Sound: man one of the best intros in a while, comparable to jujutsu kiasen, music is on point and the way it’s animated looks great I like the idea of drawing on frames and switching it up every couple of frames, the Outro was pretty good I like the animation more than the song.

Characters: I like all the characters the relationship dynamics are excellent in this, the friends got their own personalities Nagatoro is an excellent polar opposite to the main character, now the reason I gave it a 9 the main character could use just a little bit more spine, he does end up getting it in the manga I’m sure later in the anime he will but idk he seem more push over in the anime than the manga.

Enjoyment: it was good what can I say super underrated but I’m sure it’ll have its spot in the light soon, people complaining about the bullying it’s just a story dawg it isn’t even that bad. Girl like a guy she’s mean to him to get his attention a story as old as time itself. I think the anime was great I like the manga a bit better so I do recommend it if you wanna see ya boy turn into a menace.

Overall: 10/10 in my book this anime is underrated but I’m sure it’s gonna get more attention the more people complain and defend the bullying aspect of it. I really hope it gets renewed for a second season.
