Review of Darwin's Game
A decent show from beginning to end. The last episode is really awesome, like 9. In the last episode, there is very good change in the character motivations, and a better insight into characters psyche. Till that last episode, the characterization lacks, but the action and continous battles make up for it. Don't expect anything great. But if you are bored, do give it a try. Story - Our main character gets drawn into a game, called Darwin's game. The game actually happens in the real world. The players have their mobile, through which they can initiate battles with other players. When one player dies, match ends. Or whenone player surrenders, match ends. Surrendering also loses points, and when points are zero, player again dies. Death means actual death from real world. Kaname thinks people are fighting each other through game because they have no choice, as they were dragged in the game. They just want to not die. But slowly he realizes that many people enjoy killing others, and the game is boon for them. Such people were not dragged, but willingly joined the game.
The girls are just generic, all growling over the main character.
I did like the La Place power that one character has. The story does seem to have potential. Waiting for future seasons.
