Review of Gushing over Magical Girls

10/10 Big fan of magical girls, lewdness, and corruption of purity, and I'm especially a fan of finding aspects of all of that in this ecchi which has actual nudity, implied sex, meaningful characters, bonds, and character growth! I didn't know that I was waiting for something like this especially because I never enjoyed yuri as a genre (and I still don't), but I believe it was the characters here being made with immense love that I cherish their pairings. Nothing is really out of place here and I enjoyed every second of it. It's pretty wonderfully perverted to see our main character corrupt herself and otherswith her blatant sadomasochistic tendencies and how she becomes more comfortable with it as the episodes go on. And despite that it's actually wholesome, it's hardly a spoiler to say nobody has their lives ruined by becoming some broodmother for demonspawn. Call it wholesome corruption? Love it.

I also have to say that the bonds aren't forced and that all the characters make sense acting the way that they do, so in that way it's already quite a bit better than some other yuri I've seen.

Honestly it's just peak to me, if you enjoyed the game Magical Girl Celesphonia (an erotic magical girl game) you'll most probably enjoy this (as I did). The only thing I would change if I could would be making this be more explicit (but honestly it's fine as there's 1000s of fanarts, it's a 10/10 anime, I'd say watch it if any of the genres interest you).
