It's a decent anime that isn't trying to be anything more than it really is: dragon -> human and wanting to live a happy life that he didn't have before. Of course, there are mysteries of why the hero betrayed and killed him, but those aren't really the focus. The focus is Dolan, Christina, and Celina, who live a peaceful life in the village and go on adventures along the way. Super chill. Characters actually have personal goals rather than trying to f*ck the mc non stop (looking at you Arifureta). A solid 7/10 anime if you just wanted a simple, chill anime. The haremaspect is also very light, which gives it extra credit.
