Yaiba: Samurai Legend · review
God-tier animation trapped in a plot from the damn Stone Age. ✨ THE GOOD (CARRIED BY PURE SKILL): The animation is insane. Like, flex-on-the-industry insane , god damn it WIT studios just did it again. Choreography goes crazy , every swing, every clash screams “we cooked.” The adaptation looks like it knows exactly what it’s doing. 🙄 THE “WHY AM I FEELING FIVE YEARS OLD?” PACKAGE: Then the story opens its fuc*ing mouth . The plot is painfully outdated , good vs evil, zero nuance, Saturday-morning-cartoon logic.Every episode feels like it’s explaining morals to a toddler ,
and my damn ass thought "detective conan" sh*t is there so we shall be fine , pretty damn wrong.
🤦 THE “STYLE VS SUBSTANCE” ENERGY:
Visually? 2025 or maybe even from the future .
Narratively? 1992 and proud of it.
You’re watching god-tier craftsmanship babysit a fossil of a script.
💔 THE “WASTED FLEX” DEPARTMENT:
All that animation power deserved a sharper story.
Instead, it’s polishing a toy sword and calling it legendary.
And you know what's fuc*ed-up , other shows millions of years away with better plot
just got threwen under the bus while fuc*ing 'yaiba' got this treatment.
🎯 FINAL VERDICT:
A stunning spectacle that proves great animation can’t save a prehistoric plot.
✔ Watch if: You’re here for fights, visuals, and choreography porn.
❌ Skip if: You want depth, maturity, or to not feel talked down to.
⚔️ Best paired with: Muting the dialogue and appreciating the animators’ hard work.
