Were those special episodes necessary in the first place? No. But did they give me enough enjoyment by bringing the characters I missed seeing back in action for 40 more minutes? Absolutely! The first one out of two episodes was just a simple extra case that let us see William and Sherlock once again working more or less together which we weren't able to see much of in the two seasons for quite an obvious reason.

The story itself was okay, nothing special, nothing that would shock us. I would say it was mostly created to give us extra interactions between Sherly and Moriarty which is absolutely fine by me. But once again there is nothing more than this so don't expect much.

The second episode was just straightforward fanservice. It was quite entertaining, I cannot lie, I even giggled a few times. It was reassuring that they managed to not drift into the cringe territory as it was something I was worried about. We got to hear some cliche lines straight out of some dating simulators but also we saw a protective side of the older two Moriarty brothers which I found very adorable!

Overall I found both episodes entertaining enough to give them the overall score of 7/10. The quality of art and sound isn't any different than in the two seasons and I was just happy to once again see the characters I grew to like a lot animated!
