Review of A Girl & Her Guard Dog

This anime has an interesting mix of school romance, age difference, and yakuza. With all that this implies, we have main characters who couldn't be more different from each other, facing typical yakuza mafia situations combined with a romance that is inappropriate for many (it brings back memories of Koikimo and Higehiro) The animation sometimes looks like PNGs, but most of the time it retains that cute drawing style. The music blends well with the scenes, there is a good atmosphere, and the character development leaves some room for improvement. In some parts, it becomes boring or exasperating due to the attitudes of the protagonists, butin the end, it manages to convey the message of the story.
