Review of [Oshi No Ko]

Disclaimer- This is my first anime, so the review is coming from an inexperienced point of view. Story- 6/10 Oshi no ko is about the reincarnated twins of a very famous idol, highlighting the struggles of being in the public eye. However, it turns out to be much more of a revenge story than anything else, and a fairly mediocre one at that Characters- 7/10 Well written internal conflicts along with a wide variety of different characters. There is sufficient complexity to get viewers emotionally invested. Art- 9/10 IMO, the main selling point of Oshi No Ko is it’s smooth and vibrant art and animation. It’s simply very pleasing to lookat.

VA’s and OST- 9/10
The OP for this anime, written by YOASOBI, is excellent! Also, the voice actors sound just like I imagined after reading the manga.

Overall- 8/10
Despite the shortcomings in it’s plot, this show is still enjoyable to watch because of it’s beautiful visuals and characters, along with great voice acting and music. Would recommend!
