Review of [Oshi No Ko]

Excellent series. Starts off with a stellar movie length episode and keeps that quality going the entire time. It follows the anime revenge story you’ve probably seen a lot, but differently. There’s more than a blind chase for revenge, there’s the effects of what that has on a person, which I take away as the main theme. If I had to give it a genre I’d say psychological drama? It’s a struggle to be who you want to be with a dash of Death Note-ish battle of wits. Characters - every main character in this absolutely shines. They have distinctive personalities, grow and change aspeople in realistic ways, they’re very human and that’s what this show is about, that we are all human and we don’t have control over all our circumstances, that we all make mistakes. Animation - gorgeous. Beautiful, vibrant, fantastic animation. Pleasure to watch. Can’t wait for next season, solid 9/10.
