Review of Redo of Healer

Spoilers!I can't say that I'm not disappointed. The only reason that i watched it was so i can understand the twitter backlash which I was sure would happen so I can enjoy it. But seeing as everyone were too busy saying that Eren was a nazi, I only managed to see a few post even so much as talk about it.

Now, On to the actual anime. It was not good. I wouldn't recommend anyone spend their time to watch it. It had many flaws that are quite obviously intended by the producers.

First the story, It can be seen as essentially as a bad shield hero clone with sex scenes here and there for good measure. Actually, I do believe that it had good potential. I loved The Rising of the Shield Hero and seeing it from the perspective of another grossly underrated class such as a healer is quite an enticing venture but, just like the light novels it is adapting, It's messed up. Unlike how the shield hero learns to forgive those who wronged him and become a better person along the way, This is about how many ways the healer can torment and get revenge on those who he hates with a burning passion.

Art is not bad, I cannot say it looks terrible because it is actually quite fair when you compare it to other anime this season especially some made by Crunchyroll.

Sound. Like the art, it isn't half bad. It doesn't sound like they used a blue yeti and actually gave attention it somewhat. Apart from the Sex scenes which just sound like a whorehouse on steroids and everyone inside is being slaughtered, it honestly is fine.

Characters are freaking messed up man. No one in the royal family is sane, the heroes seem like demons in human form, and everyone just seem to want to rape everyone. Also, Keyaru(the protagonist) keeps acting like Jigsaw's younger brother "crossword." He keeps making those he wants to torture play "games" that are obviously impossible to win and it is quite annoying that somehow he can win against every opponent like they're ice vs the sun.

Overall, if you still plan on watching this show even though it's terrible, watch the uncensored version because we all know what you're after.
