I like Youth Gone Wild because it takes us though a making of the band story and I am definitely a sucker for those. To cut to the chase, I think it's the character development that really wins me over with this story. It's like your basic band making formula (like N Sync or BSB), you have your somewhat clueless yet endearing lead Wang Xiang, your talented jerk Shuang Guan, your dedicated Luo Kai, and your quiet and mysterious Zhi Gao. And then plus their love relationships. Since this is one of Nicky's earlier works, I think she was still developing her art style. Overallthis is a very enjoyable series!
