baby cinnamon is a short-lived, low-stakes story that tries to wrap a sweet romance around the dynamic of a mangaka and their editor. the pacing takes a winding but intentional route toward the confession which works well in its favor — anything is better than the overused “last day at work” confession trope. the gradual build-up felt more natural for the characters and kept the story from feeling too rushed. that said, it doesn’t leave much of a lasting impression. it’s not particularly memorable or noteworthy, and once you finish it, there's not much that compels you to revisit or recommend it beyond the surface-level sweetness.the art is also pretty standard and basic, nothing that stands out stylistically or elevates the narrative.
overall, it’s cute for a quick read, but not something that lingers after the last page.
