I never expected the second season to be worthwhile, let alone a valuable addition. And in that regard, it didn’t prove me wrong. My Dress-Up Darling easily ranks among the greatest anime ever made, but the second season just prolongs the story. The overall quality is still solid, but it’s not quite a worthy follow-up to the first season. I think most viewers anticipated this, and having watched it myself, I can confirm that expectation. That said, the animation is excellent, and the storyline is still above average. I'd still recommend it if you watch more than 10 episodes a week.
