Review of Tokyo Revengers

Tokyo Revengers is amazing and I really recommend it BUT I still have some mixed feelings because the main character is painfully unlikable. Its improving by the third season and it really just comes down to what you can tolerate. Takemitchy is not a bad person per se hes just a little frustrating. The other Characters are really amazing tho, especially when it comes down to backstories, motivation and development. The Art style, animation and especially the fight scenes are of course top notch. The character design is a bit goofy, especially if you remember that these are 14 to 17 year olds, that looklike 20 year old bodybuilders.

Tokyo Revengers may seem like a solo leveling type anime, where you can just turn your brain off and enjoy the fights. But the emotional damage hits hard every season. Its comedic, dramatic and full of action. And the amazing side characters make up for the flaws of the main character.
