Iyada nante Iwasenai · review
" I dont love you in the little brother sort of way" The story is fairly simple and its nothing we haven't seen before from shoujo manga, it seems the working part time and meeting handsome guys is quite typical in manga these days. The main girl Anzu is working part time at a beach house when she reunites with her childhood friend Rei, however things take a turn when Rei confesses his feelings to her despite him being a middle school student two years younger than her. Of course there our shoujo manga rivals, the good old Baba, Kazuya, and all our other cool sidecharacters.
There are several factors that make this manga quite unsuccessful in what it attempts to portray. In manga like this there are several routes the mangaka can take, more specifically something the more Strobe Edge route, or the kimi ni todoke route. The dramatic vs lighthearted route. The mangaka tries to stay in the middle which isnt necessarily a bad thing but overwhelmed the reader with a shitty setting and plot mood.
In essence this manga isnt by any means great and if you havent read tons of manga in this genre just find a better one, but it is something you can past your time with if you find yourself running out of romance manga to read, nothing is too special about it, but it definitely isn't utter shit.
