As someone who trans/nonbinary themselves I tend to gravitate toward genderbender/crossdressing stories a lot. The concept for the manga overall is exciting however the ending was most definitely rushed and because of that that it spoiled some of the enjoyment for. Personally, I think they could have really stretched out the story much longer, there were many other plotlines with other characters that I felt were worth exploring. Especially the dynamic with the Black twins, Ayato was the only one struggling with their gender and familial duty. Even at the end when Ayato "choose" their gender I still would have been interested to see howeffects of their choice on the kingdom. How people would react, and Ayato shift in responsibilities as the heir.

Overall the topic and theme were very good, the art was gorgeous and fit the theme of the story. I just wished it didn't end so suddenly.
