Review of Aura: Koga Maryuin's Last War

Let me start by saying this anime NEEDS to be seen by more people. A good way to enjoy this anime to the fullest is to NOT read the synopsis. I watched the anime like a week after I added it to my "Plan to watch" list, so I had completely forgotten what it's about, and that helped to greatly enhance my experience. I was hooked ever since the first minute. Afterwards I was a bit lost in the story, mainly because I kept wondering what is real and what is not. Not to mention my utter confusion as to how the beginning of theanime connects to the rest of the story. At the end, when all the puzzle pieces were finally put together, the message of the anime hit me so hard that I cried A LOT. I can honestly say I relate to this anime on a personal level. The bullying was shown in such a raw and impactful way that it can easily beat other anime movies such as "A silent voice".
