Tengu desu · review
Wait, what? So, there's this tengu, and he's running along, and he's trying to save his super-mega-sized sweetheart who has been caged by an evil...someone...and her horde of sumo wrestlers? I can't understand little more than the most basic Japanese, so I'm probably missing something here. But I'm willing to bet that even if I was fluent, I'm probably not missing much. The artwork in this is quite crude, although that's more of a stylistic choice rather than a matter of quality. The song, however, is equally crude, and that IS a matter ofquality. Simple, heavy chords that lean mightily on guitars, and an unexceptional lead singer. Oh well. Can't win them all.
This ends with a tsu-zu-ku, so looks like there's a sequel.
