I'd honestly never thought I'd find a comedy anime as enjoyable as Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou was for me. TL;DR, show's real funny and worth watching, got it? Alright, go! It's rare that any anime that has a comedy tag would make me literally laugh out loud, and only a handful have, this included along with Flying Witch and Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou. Expecting that this show would be mediocre in it's comedy aspect at best, the only reason I started watching this show was due to the fact that it was on Netflix and I had like a free weekend to burn doing nothing. So basically, this show's protagonist, Saiki Kusou, has phenomenal psychic powers, cool right? Well no, as his magnificent his powers seem they have their own drawbacks, as such Saiki is bombarded with the thoughts of everyone within a certain radius of him. Thus he tries his absolute hardest to live a peaceful and simple life devoid of anything exciting or anything that he may deem tiring or a waste of time, which is the entire premise of this show. This achieves a blend of being somewhat able to relate to Saiki's daily problems to a certain degree that makes his efforts to avoid such interactions enjoyably funny.

The characters are memorable and the voice actors have done a great job portraying the characters as intended as per their individual introductions and have brought them to a realistic enough standard that I can imagine myself in Saiki's shoes and would react in the same ways he would. Also, specifically Kamiya Hiroshi who voiced our lovely protagonist, his experience with inter-monologues and his elaborate thought processes that we have seen also from the Monogatari series is a perfect match for each other.

The art and sound effects could be better, but they definitely suffice for an anime such as this since it does not look for beautiful animation and sound track within high tension situations or scenes.

The music is decent (???), albeit not very memorable but as far as I remember managed to fit themselves nicely within certain themes / emotions in the show.

Overall, a comedy anime has not much plot to judge on in my opinion, and has fulfilled it's task of making a enjoyable comedy anime that is worth watching. This show does well the same way Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou does, provide a non-offensive show with minimal plot and focus on the moments that people could relate to on a personal level which creates enjoyment from watching.
