Review of The Fruit of Grisaia

Ok I'm not one of those people who waste their time writing a whole essay on an anime, I'm gonna make this quick. Story: The anime starts off promising the first few episodes and I liked some of the suspense thrown in there, but there were many generic tropes in there as well, and so I couldn't grasp the originality of the story. Art: The art style is pretty good for most anime and it was actually somewhat appealing but with those few mistakes thrown in there at times. Sound: The sound was a huge mess, in the background you could hear what is supposed to be soundsused in those old video games, like animal crossing or pokemon, it just felt off to me.

Character: I like this take on an MC who's cold and does not give a fuck, it reminded me of Shiba Tatsuya from "The Irregular at Magic High School" and his reactions to some situations were pretty funny. The girls are all pretty unique in a way, but they also somewhat feels like every girl is supposed to represent a different anime character trope, like that one shy girl that calls you "oni-chan", or that one girl that wants to kill you right off that start, and even that one girl that was in an incident in your past. All in one harem.

Enjoyment: I enjoyed the show, but I would have liked it more if the background music thing was not a problem.

Overall: Decent anime in my opinion with a huge chance to improve, it was a good anime with a harem MC that you don't see much in anime, and it's actually pretty refreshing, I'd give this show a 6 but you should check it out if you want to I guess.
