Review of Mob Psycho 100 II

*THIS REVIEW WILL BE FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW AS A WHOLE* This show is extremely entertaining, funny and an overall masterpiece in so many ways. This review will be pretty long so if you don't have the time to read all of it, just skip to the end to read my final verdict. Enjoy. -STORY- The story of Shigeo and Reigen is a well written, heartfelt, story that was funny from the start. I gave the story an 8 and not a 10 because of one thing. A lot of shows that contain powers and special abilities suffer from this. It's that some people just do not needpowers. Take for instance, The CW Flash. Something I really did not like about it was that, all of the main characters and side-characters have all had powers at some point in the show. Whenever this happens I think it just gets too confusing and I am not a fan of it. Someone who did not need to have powers was Ritsu. I think the jealousy he had towards Mob and his powers really could have opened a gateway towards some interesting character development. Other than that I do not really have any problems with the story.

-ART-
Outstanding to say the least. The art is so simple yet so brilliant. Since the characters are very simple to animate, Character movements are fluid and very over-the-top. Its almost like eye candy. Like a massage for your eyes. Its so smooth and fluid and can look amazing in intense fight scenes. Bones did an fantastic job on this and really captured the simplistic charm that the source material conveyed.
SCORE - 10 (OUTSTANDING)

-SOUND-
Not much to say about sound. It's still good though. Both of the openings are total bangers. They have this Shonen feel while still telling you the show is going to be much more than that. The voice acting is phenomenal. The voice actors sound like they are having so much fun. And while you're at it, check out the dub too. It's almost just as great!
SCORE - 8 (VERY GOOD)

-CHARACTERS-
Shigeo's character is very similar to characters like Saitama. They both are extremely powerful beings that excel when it comes to their abilities. The only problem is in the real world. They are both awkward, have bad communication skills, and honestly, are a little bit unsightly. I like this type of character a lot because it can lead to some funny moments and some interesting character development. Reigen is hilarious while Mob is very charming and endearing. Almost all of the characters are likable.

-ENJOYMENT-
This show never ceased to impress me and had me hooked almost the entire time through. I was laughing my head off during some of these episodes. This show is genuinely funny and addictive. The animations is like eye candy while the characters are so fun to watch as they interact with each other and the world around them.

-OVERALL/FINAL VERDICT-
Watch this show. I recommend it for literally anyone. This is not one of those shows that only certain people like, I genuinely see anyone enjoying this piece of art. It is beyond worth it and you will not be disappointed at all.
