Review of Convenience Store Boy Friends

Truth be told, I did not like the anime. It has really poor animation when there's any animation on screen, bad pacing and a character that dows not speak ever, but are show often as if we were supposed to care for them. the MC is bland and his love interest is blander still. The interesting parts are with the secondary couple, and the anime follows them more often than the main couple. The thing is, it's a strong premise - it has a great idea but couldn't handle it. The drama between the two MCs is strong and should have been front and center - Iwould love to watch an anime that actually ran with that idea and did it right.

As it is, it's mediocre and barely watchable. It's predictable, it's downright ugly to watch sometimes. But it had SO MUCH potential, so many great concepts that were awfully executed.
