Review of The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments
I really wanted to start this season especially after watching the first one in two days, I was in hype, and at first it more than satisfied my expectations, I love the enemy organizations (akatsuki vibes) and the 10 Commandments are really cool, but I think they haven't fought them as they deserve, in general this anime has a fast but constant rhythm, at least the first season was like that, but in this one I think they have exaggerated a little the speed and there has not been time to develop the emotions in the combat, since the combats against the 10 Commandments havelacked sense, 1: because the scales of power don't allow for any kind of doubt, 2: because the fights last one chapter (two at most) and you don't have time to really develop anything.
For me, the anime was low in quality after the druid training bow, which I think had potential to be quite better, I expected training where the characters would actually become more powerful and could develop new techniques and have a presence in the fights.
And in the end, I repeat myself, I didn't find any uncertainty about what was going to happen, my heart didn't shrink as in the first season, because the general dynamics were: a character appears with a new scale of power and end of the plot, even though I love that the characters are powerful, this makes everything boring.
In short, I was expecting a similar experience to the first season, and I have found very good things, especially in the stories of the characters and the new enemies, but also things that have disappointed me and make me not enjoy this season so much.
