Enen no Shouboutai is a decent enough Shounen anime that has a pretty generic Shounen storyline, the story is this man Shinra finds out that his mom and younger brother who was a baby at the time died in a fire accident, years later after coping with the rotten perspective that the people have of him, he joins fireforce company 8 in search of answers, and his ultimate goal which is to become a hero and save everybody in danger of human combustion. Enen no Shouboutai is decent in a sense that it is entairtaining, there are likable characters and the concept of people usingflames as their powers or abilities seems interesting to me. This anime tho lacks a lot of things, it lacks the firepower to keep up with bigger better Shounen of summer 2019 and big memorable Shounen as well, which is ironic since it's called Fireforce. It honestly goes under the radar, and I feel like it lacks the publicity it deserves, even tho there are better shows in the same genre, fireforce is still not that popular. On the note on why it's inferior to other shounens, it just doesn't stand out compared to the other competitors in the same genre, which hinders it's popularity and the people who know about it, which is a shame since it's actually pretty good, despite some flaws and lacking in certain departments.

PROS:
-Is entertaining
-Has likable characters
-Interesting premise
-Is very fast paced
-Has a cliffhanger of an ending, I would like to see how they capitalize on this in season 2

CONS:
-Lack of epic fight scenes
-Story goes way too quickly
Like, just like that its over, plus almost all major fight scenes are concluded in one episode, and it just lacks major epic fight scenes compared to other Shounen that gets your heart pumping with the epic fight scenes, when you watch the fight scenes in this it anime it just feels lacking in a sense that this isn't what you signed up for upon watching this anime, it makes me feel weird honestly
-Soundtrack is not that great [the metal op really did not do it for me, and the first op lacked that shounen anime drop that I was looking for, it just didn't have that epic drop that made all the other ops great, and made my head bopped.
-Story was very standard, the most standard Shounen plot ever lol
-Lacks the firepower to compete with its predecessor and competitors
-The story is way too plot inconvent sometimes, oh the mc plans to investigate this company, oh what do you know this company has a rookie program that's way too fucking convenient for the mc.

Overall Enen no Shouboutai is a decent Shounen anime, it's a shame that its lacks popularity, and lacks in certain departments which makes it inferior to its predecessors and competitons, as a result not many people know about it, except for anime fans who keep up with seasonal anime, and it's die hard fans who are faithfully waiting for it's second season. I give Fireforce a 7/10 decent enough, but nothing special, if someone is looking for a enjoyable shorter Shounen then it would do the trick for that, just beware that it's competitors are better suited for that, but aye give Fireforce a shot it's decent.
