Review of World Trigger
Guessing the target audience is children or people in their early teens. TL;DR: Terrible exposition, but probably worth watching if you can stand that. + Has some entertainment value. - The characters mostly follow tropes; Everything from the edgy, angry guy who doesn't listen to reason to the frustratingly naïve person who tries to help their enemy and gets taken hostage instantly. -- The writer seems highly inexperienced at incorporating explanations in a natural way, I've never seen this much forced exposition in a show rated above 7 on MAL before. I rarely write reviews, but this particular aspect of the show was so bad that I feltcompelled to write this.
Most of the time this exposition is for things that don't even require explanations, which makes it even worse.
Additionally, they repeat scenes and dialogues in the extreme.
They could probably shave off around 30% of the entire show without losing out on any of the actual story.
