Review of Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale

Art - 9/10 : Great animation all through-ought, The more modern character models looks even better than the original, Action looks crazy in the best way, and some more um mature scenes you could say in this movie. Characters - 8/10 : Actually some crazy growth in the characters here, Kirito is still an egotist but it shows his flaws, and actually shows his weaker side, and Asuna is still getting more growth, but is becoming a pretty great character aswell, The side characters comprise of the previous 2 seasons and add some more lighthearted comentary in the pretty damn dark movie, Villains have some strangemotives but are better than the previous villains.

Story - 8/10 Alot better story wise than either of the previous seasons, Its a far Far darker story and doesnt back down to talking about death and deeper things, The story isn't cringe like S2 and isn't as numbskulled as S1 arc 2.

Enjoyment - 7/10 Although it was alot better than all other SAO, The runtime was a killer, 2 hours of Sword Art Online in a row is wayy too much... I caught myself losing attention to the dialogue many times which affected the movie, But it does get going very quickly and has a pretty good climax.
