I found this to be a mess. A bigger mess then anything I've seen up to this point, not counting those legendary ones, like Skelter Heaven and Shitcom. Ladies and gentleman, from the creator of Mirai Nikki we receive another way too edgy story with another yandere who falls in love with a weak, dumb MC that just happens to get an OP power: Big Order. However, this time, we get even more of all that in less episodes. Doesn't that just sound wonderful and encouraging? Story: 3 Mirai Nikki's story wasn't great by any means, but it at least had something going for it at most parts. Itwasn't executed as good as anyone would hope, but it tried. Big Order didn't even do that. It never tried. The author stole every idea from his last popular work and recreated them in a different setting. I am not one to consider unoriginality an issue. I think that if something is made well, it doesn't matter if it was done before, but this wasn't done well. Much worse actually.
So the story revolves around Eiji, a guy who apparently kiled millions of people and almost caused the end of the world. How? You see, "Orders" exist in this world. Each order has a different power that comes from a wish they once made. His wish was to conquer the world, and that somehow almost destroyed the world completely. You would think this plot could be interesting, and you would be right. But it ends up not being anything close to that. It consistently got worse every time something was revealed. I think there was only one plot twist that caght me by surprise, and it happened at the end of the anime. Other then that, we get stupidity. It's pretty clear that the studio tried way too hard to appeal to the fans of Mirai Nikki, both with its stupid moments happening while some serious stuff is going down (one of the girls got pregnant, because the MC touched her in the middle of a huge fight. Yes, you read that right), and dark themes dripping from every corner. Just like in the authors previous work, this combination does not work, as the stupid stuff overweighs the dark ones on a massive scale. I don't know how am I supposed to care, when there is so much ridiculousness thrown my way, without any reason or explanation.
You see, the main appeal of this series, is that the setting is supposed to provide a lot of fun and be surprising. It kinda is at first, but while a few powers are severely overused, others are underused, or even left untouched. Eiji has the power to control everything in the area he claimed, in order to claim an area, he has to walk over it. However, there were times, where he didn't. His power sometimes exceeded that for some reason, so that's just great. This aside, his power is amazingly overpowered. He can command anything in his area, but he gets defeated so often, fails at most of the tasks he performs. How does one do that with this much power? This is probably the biggest mistakes I've ever seen in anime. If you're going to give a character this much power, and then make it so he fails so much, I'm pretty sure anyone can sense the bullshit with this idea. Of course this could be fixed by a simple limit, but why would you do that? That only requires more writing, and that can make your hands hurt right?
Oh, and there's incest, but she's not his real sister so that's okay.
There is so many more examples of this, but going over it would be require more time then I have at my disposal. Let's just say, that the story is bullshit with some cool ideas at first, and a pretty good plot twist once. The ending was also good, because it made all the things in the show irrelevant, so that makes forgetting it easier.

Art and Animation: 5
The show looks exactly like Mirai Nikki, but this was made 4 years after that. So many character designs are identical that the laziness of the people who created them is straight up annoying. I didn't have any major problems with it, but the CGI wasn't good, and there were some oversexualised characters, alongside some pretty obvious ripoffs, so the score is what it is. I just don't like it.
As for animation, I didn't see anything bad with it, so it passes. There were even some pretty decently animated scenes here and there.

Sound: 2
The soundtrack itself isn't bad, hell, I would even say it's good, but since we are talking about the anime, I feel like this score is justified. Why? Because it is misused so badly that I got mad at the music for the first time in my life.
Something sad happens?
Put "Dominate" on!
Something exciting happens?
Put "Dominate" on!
Something that should make you contemplate happens?
Put fucking "Dominate" on!
"Dominate" feels like a jazz piece with all its trumpets. Would you want to hear that so frequently in so many different situations? It's not that bad, but it was played so often, and it was always so unfitting, that I started to hate it. That alone was enough to completely RUIN the music for me. I couldn't hear any other song playing because of that. I'm not even sure how many other songs played, because the only one I heard was this.
This is not a 1 only because I truly like the opening, both on the visual side, and on the music side. Ending on the other hand pissed me off as much as "Dominate" did. It just didn't fit.

Characters: 3
You may find yourself liking some characters. I don't consider all of them completely atrocious, but I could only get myself to like three total. Eiji is an asshole to everybody, acts dumb (as I previously mentioned, he misuses his power to a stupid degree) and irresponsible. In the first episode we get introduced to a typical yandere, but this time, her main trait, and I repeat, MAIN TRAIT is that she's stupid. It is even deliberately stated in the show itself. That doesn't make her a better character btw. Eiji's power killed her family, but she falls in love with him because he accidentally uses his power to make her marry him. She hates him and tries to kill him the whole time, but she quickly decided that she loves him.
YAY! ROMANCE!
YAY! GOOD WRITING!
The other orders aren't even worth mentioning, most of them either get almost no story (one does, I liked him), or never even get mentioned. Yes, some of them are left completely untouched or unseen throughout the entire story.
The only characters that I thought were interesting were Eiji's sister (even with the incest), because she gets major development and some good plot twists surrounding her, and the main antagonist, whose motives were more rational then any of the other characters. I couldn't care less about the rest.

Enjoyment: 2
What is it that I enjoyed? One of the scenes, in which a stone giant stops a nuclear missile. That made me honestly think "Hey, that's pretty cool".
Other then that I forced myself to finish it, purely because of my completionist attitude. There was nothing, NOTHING that would make me want to push forward, other then the thought of being able to say that I watched a bad show afterwards. This was honeslty my firs experience with an anime that I disliked this much. I don't Hate it, I just dislike it immensely. I quickly forgot most of the story elements, purely because how uninteresting they were. I wouldn't be glad that I watched this show, if not for the fact that I wanted to watch a bad one, so I achieved that I guess.
But at what cost.

Overall: 3
Between this and Skelter Heaven, I would still rather sit through another 10 episodes of this to be honest. There were a few aspects that weren't completely ruined, a surprising plot twist and a character that I quite liked. The opening was also good.
But that doesn't mean that I ever will rewatch this.
Watching bad anime makes you really appreciate your favourites. I've had enough of this for at least a few months though. I wrote this review to remeber the time lost on this.
Press F to pay respects for my lost time.
If I ever see Sakae Esuno write something again, I'll be sure not to read or watch it.

As always, this is purely my opinion, but I can't reccomend you to develop you own.
Watch at your own risk
