"Girl Crush" is an idol story manga set in South Korea. Our protagonist Momose Tenka is a Japanese teenager who sets out her journey to become a K-Pop idol after being inspired in a rivalry with her classmate. This story is unique in that it not only showcases the journey to become an idol but the obstacles around it. While there are very many idol stories, "Girl Crush" does a wonderful job of showing the talents of each character and how dreams are achieved through different means and times. If you want a story with a lot of characters who are likeable and unique, thisis a great story! While not everything will be entirely accurate, the story hooks its readers through its story and characters.
