This manga was a fever dream, and not the good kind For a non-spoiler synopsis, Hoshino (the mc) is a teenage boy with the worst case of Stockholm Syndrome I have ever seen, and he also happens to be a psychopath-magnet. I’m not sure if he’s just really unlucky or he lives in some parallel universe where Japan is basically Arkham Asylum. Story: 3 I can give it credit for at least trying to have a mystery plot but I can’t decide if the final twist was good or awful and predictable. There are also so many sub-plots and it switches from horror to comedy so fast itgave me whiplash. It’s also a mess because sometimes it doesn’t properly show when a flashback ends so i’m left wondering if a certain scene is a flashback or a continuation to the story.

Art: 7

Art is pretty good, not much else I can say

Characters: 2

The worst part of this manga. It’s only 20 chapters but there are about 10 psychos in it. However the main 2 get half the chapters so the rest of the cast get a chapter or 2 at most and then are forgotten and irrelevant to the story. And the MC just forgives all of them despite the fact that many of them were close to violently killing him.

Enjoyment: 4

If you want to enjoy this manga even just a little bit, don’t pay attention to the story or characters because they don’t make sense.

Thanks for reading
