Tsuihou sareta Meika no Chounan: Baka ni Sareta Hazure Skill de Saikyou e to Noboritsumeru · review
6.9/10 Haaa, here we go again: another not-so-excited person to leave a not-so-inspired review for a not-so-original manga. Word for word, bar for bar, I am sort of proud and disappointed at myself for being able to recite EVERY single development in the first chapter, but I guess the saying is “it can’t get worse from here,” and it does hold a bit of merit when in regards to this manga. To say the least, the first chapter was god-awfully generic; and honestly, the same thing could be said about the plot, as the mc runs into those essential bad guys and conveniences that will progresshis knowledge/reveal his power. Though, I can’t be too negative, since the story did have me a bit intrigued at how slow/thought-out some of the mc’s power progression was.
On the edginess scale, this manga is a light edge, and it’s not horrible because the main character doesn’t get extremely overpowered out of nowhere while having some guts, but at the end of the day, the story is still about a trope we’ve seen done countless times before, which ruins a lot of “surprises” or anticipation in each chapter.
