Every Adventure Needs a Weapon! The Blacksmith Life of Rudy the Obsessed · review
Highly recommended! It has vibrant a story and in-depth world-building, with exposition is being drip-fed thoughtfully through the chapters. Some panels are drawn with so much details that you can feels the atmosphere. It makes the world feels alive. The characters and story avoid well-worn tropes, making for a novel read. There are a few VERY simple panels in the early chapters, maybe to meet deadlines, but they very rarely show up afterwards. They are only really noticeable because of how dense most panels are though. If there is any other downside, it is the question of where the story can really go, as it doesn'tnecessarily have a driving force. There are some hints of a centralize plot in the recent chapters, but that might just be an arc before going back to the status quo. Even if this remains true, it is worth reading for the interesting characters and art.
