5.2/10 I can’t tell if the author had severe amnesia when writing this story or not because oh dear god, there are so many plot holes, and the mc continues recalling contradicting world-building, which makes this such a hassle to read. The author establishes that there’s a “coming-of-age” ceremony for skills, yet the fmc has a skill at birth? Alright. Putting that aside, the mc and fmc’s dynamic is such a forced “I need you” for this skill to work, it is simply baffling. The author seriously did not give his premise a single second of thought, that is how ridiculous it is. Don’t even getstarted on how bad the side characters are — they’re literally inserted there to be inexplicable @ssholes, and they serve no other purpose. They also appear rather randomly for the plot to move, making the whole story a forced, jumbled mess.
Besides for the manga somehow putting up every plot point contradiction possible, and the characters having some of the most ridiculous, forced connections, the story isn’t horribly bad. I mean, if you’re a degenerate who loves trashy fantasy mangas, then you might find some kind of enjoyment, as it’s still tolerable.
