6.1/10 Howdy, readers! Are you also a fellow aspiring adventurer searching for this one manga called “Peak?” Well, if you are, then I’d like to direct you towards the exact opposite direction of this story to save you time! Ok seriously, this just sucks — everything is so anticlimactic, and the mc is too overpowered for his own good that everything becomes a letdown and no stakes are there besides for the mc acting shocked or poor for “comedy” purposes. Not only that, he’s as idiotic as they come — this may be due to his invincibility complex, so his guard is down at all times, but hejust acts so unnaturally towards people who threaten his life, and it makes for some of the most braindead developments to exist.

As for the plot, it’s just a bunch of cliches with the waifus in the harem and how the mc meets with them, etc.

There’s a small bit of enjoyability due to how bad it is, since the story is one of those turn your brain off and enjoy the overpoweredness, but it definitely becomes boring sooner than later.

If you truly want to waste your time, then look no further, but if you want something to love and worship as “Peak,” then why are you still reading this review? Anyways, I’m off to continue my search; best of luck, traveler.
