6.5/10 I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect going in, but this turned out to be more wholesome than I anticipated. The female main character (FMC) is refreshingly straightforward, which I found much more enjoyable than the typical shy protagonists who hesitate to take action. Her directness brought a fun dynamic to the so-called story, yea this is severely lacking in the story department apart from the things going on between the characters. The male main character (MMC), on the other hand, is overly embarrassed by almost everything. While this was tolerable at first, it gradually became repetitive and somewhat frustrating as the story progressed. My biggest issuelies with the story’s continuity. Each chapter often feels like a disconnected fresh start rather than a natural continuation of the previous day’s events. This made the narrative feel disjointed and, at times, confusing. Some plot points were left unresolved, and given how short the chapters already are, this contributed to an overall sense of incompleteness. Only a few chapters felt fully fleshed out.
Character development is slow, with the primary focus being the growing chemistry between the FMC and MMC. While that relationship is endearing, the MMC’s persistent shyness tends to dampen the mood.
Overall, it's a light and fluffy read, ideal when you're in the mood for something wholesome and low-stakes so I cannot directly recommend this to anyone for the same reason. The FMC is a standout — she knows what she wants and doesn’t overthink things, which is a refreshing change. I just wish there had been more depth to the story and world-building. It felt overly focused on the romance, with everything revolving solely around the main characters, making it feel a bit rushed and one-dimensional.
