STORY 7/10 The lore is great! I love it when stories incorporate the fae into their lore. I just...wish it was done..more? That we got to see more fairies. Why weren't there more fairies outside the forest? They're supposed to be everywhere and come in many different shapes and sizes. The fact they were confined into one place for the entire story was...a choice. I did start to lose steam near the end with the big dumb anime fight. They went on for too long and for too many chapters. But overall I enjoyed the story! ART 10/10 The art is stunning. I found myself spamming my friendswith panel shots and I'm sure that got super annoying really quick but the ART, man. Gorgeous.

CHARACTERS 8/10
The only REALLY nuanced characters were the two leads. I love that the ML while being of the dark broody knight archetype was actually the biggest malewife I've ever seen and had the personality of sunshine in a can around the people he cared about. The FL was cold at first but being around his energy made her just as cute. Truly they made each other better. Special shoutout to the ML's staff who are just the goofiest shippers on deck I've ever seen in a story like this.

FINAL THOUGHTS
All in all, I had a good time. The writing and storytelling wasn't perfect and dragged on at times and a lot of the antagonists acted extremely cartoonishly evil and while that makes the story as a whole more trashy, there's a certain guilty pleasure feeling of satisfaction when you get to watch them eventually have everything taken from them as a result of their own hubris.
