When I write my very first review, I have read seven volume of this novel. This story is about a guy named Hikigaya Hachiban who has issue of socializing with other peoples and how he perceive the society from his point of view. When reading the novel, you can find many references from anime,game, j-drama and popular culture in the Japan. From my end, I found that this novel is not boring to read as the story is driven by dialog-based most of time and the conversation of main character with other peoples (like yukino, yui, shizuka...) is very interesting and fun to watch/read. Sometimes youmay feel that the main protagonist is talking/thinking many nonsense stuffs but there is always some truth in it.

In conclusion, the novel is still enjoyable even you don't know the references used in the novel.
