Painful, but Desirable · review
At first, you will think that Doyun is an ass for not liking Hayeon the same way as someone in love would just but as you read through the story, you will get to know the main reason why he acted like this and it is to do with his family (his father involving the mother who sadly passed). He’s the type who doesn’t do funny business and is pretty much hard to read on how he truly feels about things. Even though I don’t know why anyone would agree to a marriage without love but ok then.. Hayeon is the opposite of him likeshe is so easygoing and very sweet to everyone, she’s not your typical “damsel in distress” type but pretty much likeable. Now like any romance manga, there’ll always be side “third wheeler” characters who will try to break the couple such as Hayeon‘s colleague and a girl (can’t remember the name) who’s family is also part of a corporate family group. Thank the lord they didn’t appear much in this manhwa is all I can say!
There’s also a wholesome ending which I can’t say but it was nice reading this yall even if there were some scenes that were hard to read, especially what Doyun went through as a child.
Btw my country is represented in this manhwa, I’m so prouddddd 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
