Ok first let’s say I currently watching 4 mecha seasonal anime and out of the four,this one is the worst,not because the story,but because the mech itself. Let me ask,what makes a mecha anime a mecha anime ?,the mech ofc,it’s important to make a good design choice for the mech,it doesn’t have to be very big or “gundam-ish” to be cool-looking,just look at 86,the mech design is very simple yet it still looks cool ,but then we have the mech in this anime and to be honest it looks horrible…fcking horrible,they can just make a simple mech and yet they just make a shinier,jumbo version ofb-daman that didn’t balls.
That aside this anime is actually a pretty decent one for me though,I don’t really know where I have to put it,usually for mech anime it’s either on “wholesome,all good nothing bad’’ or “serious stuff”,and when it comes to this anime,the tone is very random, sometimes it have a light tone but a few moment later it would be the opposite.
As for the character,which is one of the reason I keep watching,I like most of them especially the female main lead,Rin.Courageful girl with a colorful personality and childish behaviour is always my favorite type.
For the music,well it exist,the OP and ED song is quite good for me atleast
I love the animation,it’s colorful and eye-catchy.The animation is also a few of the aspect that I find interesting.
Overall from the few aspect it’s a good anime,but it’s not a good MECHA ANIME.so if you are bored or need a time-killer,this one could be your choice.
