My overall take of the show and what I would change... with no spoilers I love the blade runner movies and was excited to see that there was going to be a blade runner anime. the detail in some parts of the show is great and in others not so much, for example in the movies the buildings have texture and the streets are packed. there is a sense of destruction and neglect but still, people are living among it. in black lotus, it is all different that is why I give it a 6 in the art category. the sounds of the blade runnermovies bring the whole dystopian city to perspective, again this is lacking in black lotus.

I would strongly suggest watching the movies before the show. I think that it the show has potential but I might drop... Idk yet
