As a huge fan of Takatou I thought it would be very enjoyable to read a manga based on him, even if he is Anti Hero in it. But it was a bit disappointing in the Story section. Though the idea was quite good and tricks were good too but they all lack what I called is better writing and and Characters. For me, I didn't get to see much of the Dark side of Takatou in the Manga. It's story of how he went on the path of Making the Perfect crime, but our main culprit lacks the quality to complete with Takatou just likeKindaichi and Akechi, even Takatou himself stated this in the manga.

So don't expect it to be grand. I was able to find out culprit and their tricks, so it's pretty simple mystery for most of Mystery lovers.
It would have been better if the writer had given some focus on Characters and would have extended the manga.
