Axe-kun trimmed down what would have been a masterpiece. Chapter 10 left their love in an awkward place; it was made very clear that not everyone felt the exact same as one another. Akira was the one to point it out. The time skip made things a bit more solid with still some drops of drama that more chapters could have covered. A lot of people question Rin's feelings for Akira and Akira's feelings for Mayuki. I think Rin was subconsciously controlling her feelings to only have a mono relationship, so that was easily solved. For Akira, she only JUST started seeing Mayuki as something morethan one of the group of Kouhais, so she needed more time to sort her feelings after her quick growth as a character.
A 10/10 trimmed by Axe-kun into a 9/10. I highly recommend this series, even if the end is obvious (from everyone talking about it) and divisive. Every character has their charm, and the love is sickly sweet and dramatic!
