I really liked this manga. Short but sweet (like basashi, which is apparently sweeter than most meats). The story itself is very low-stakes, making for a relaxing read. Kaede and and Satomi are both adorable! The ending was a little abrupt, but both main characters finished their arcs, so it makes sense. I do wish we could have seen Kaede and Satomi's relationship evolve beyond Kaede helping Satomi regain his appetite, but considering the kind of manga this is, it wasn't necessary. I also really like this mangaka's art. The paintings were very impressive. I look forward to reading more of their work.
